Proposed Strategic Directions

In May 2006, the Atlantic Cardiovascular Society conducted a small scale “environmental scan” of the Atlantic Provinces to research factors affecting the health populations and/or systems that are likely to drive change over the next several years.  What  were some brutal facts of the current reality that people have come to accept; ‘facts’ that might be altered with hard work and innovation on the part of ACS and its partners. As a result of the environmental scan, ACS held a strategic planning session in July with its Executive Committee to discuss the results and logical strategic directions for ACS to follow.
